About

I know bios are typically written in third person but I’d rather just introduce Calista to you myself. It’s more personable.

Pronouns: She/Her

I graduated from Parsons School for Design, The New School in 2021 and studied Strategic Design and Management BBA with a minor in Alternative Fashion Strategies (a long word for sustainable fashion). I am a Vietnamese-American, born and raised in the heart of the Silicon Valley and moved to New York to pursue a career in the fashion & communications industry.

My passion for sustainability and social impact sparked after learning about human rights violations and unethical sourcing practices during the clothing manufacturing process in the fashion industry. In my early career, I grew committed to crafting genuine, transparent, and inclusive narratives, using my expertise in PR and marketing to shed light on impact-led initiatives. It is a priority of mine to take part in this dynamic shift within companies to create an impactful change.

With a background across communications, marketing, operations, and sales, I have had the unique opportunity to learn the value chain of a company first-hand and work amongst cross-functional teams. Designing and storytelling with a purpose is an important value I carry throughout my work and I hope to continue to do so in my future career opportunities.
