Shrink the Gap.

A Data Public-Awareness Campaign

How can design create social change? How can information visualization raise awareness, educate and empower the public to become actively involved in a cause? I designed a public-awareness campaign using data visualization to increase awareness & influence public attitudes and behaviors towards the gender wage gap in the US. The gender wage gap is an unethical violation of human rights and marginalizes women from advancing in the work force. The gap is still painted as false narrative that does not exist. My campaign is to prove that assumption wrong with factual evidence…and a bit of humor.
